Easy Vehicle Creation for players and storytellers

Easy Vehicle Creation

Here lies a description of the way a Storyteller (or crafty player) can create a vehicle of his own imagination of any technology. That includes but not limits to Types : Spacecrafts/aircrafts – Tanks – APCs – Multi-Joint Vehicles and their most common Classes : Light – Medium – Heavy. Each type and category has its own pros and cons.
One can choose to create it's own Class or Type. The tables below use Xianide as metal sample. If lighter metal is used, then add +1 to speed / every category lighter than Xianide. If heavier metal is used, then reduce -1 to speed / every category heavier than Xianide. If harder than Xianide, then add the additional Armor Points and Damage Negation described at the table of metal hardness and if lower reduce by the amount described there as well. Do so before picking a Type or Class.
Step 1 : Use base stats of the Classes below.

Light Vehicle
Medium Vehicle
Heavy Vehicle
Armor Points
Details Described at NEMESIS WORLDS, Item's Compendium section.
Speed
Damage Negation
Weight Capacity
Drivers/Pilots/Seats
Maneuverability

Step 2 : Use the metals and materials table to pick a metal. Adjust speed, Armor Points and Damage Negation.

Step 3 : Adjust the stats by picking a Vehicle Type from the table below. All adjustments are rounded up.

Finalize the vehicle created by adding weapons and devices, using the appropriate weight modifiers to create a balanced war machine. To be sure what is the correct weight modifier when choosing an device to place at your craft remember that : 11/110/1100 means weight modifier for Light/Medium/Heavy. Medium class weapons deal damage x2 and all damage are auto successes, Heavy class weapons deal damage x10 and all damage are auto successes, Light class weapons deal the described damage. Weapon range gains the same multiplier as damage depending on the class.
